Enemy to Islam Vs. 10 aged Boy!

There was once a man who was an enemy to Islam. He had three famous questions that no person could answer. No Islamic scholar in Baghdad could answer his three questions...thus he made fun of Islam in public. He constantly ridiculed Islam and the Muslims. One day a small boy, who`s age was 10, came along and heard the man yelling and screaming at Muslims in the street. He was challenging people openly to answer the three questions.

The boy stood quietly and watched. He then decided that he would challenge the man. He walked up and told the man, 
"I will accept your challenge".
The man laughed at the boy and ridiculed the Muslims even more by saying, "A ten year old boy challenges me. Is this all you people have to offer!"
But the boy patiently reiterated his stance. He would challenge the man, and with Allah`s help and guidance, he would put this to an end. The man finally accepted.

The entire city gathered around a small "hill" where open addresses were usually made. The man climbed to the top, and in a loud voice asked his first question.

"What is your God doing right now?"

The small boy thought for a little while and then told the man to climb down the hill and to allow him to go up in order to address the question.
The man says "What? You want me to come down?"
The boy says, "Yes. I need to reply, right?"
The man made his way down and the small boy, age 10, with his little feet made his way up.

This small child`s reply was "Oh Allah Almighty! You be my witness in front of all these people. You have just willed that a Kafir be brought down to a low level, and that a Muslim be brought to a high level!"

The crowd cheered and screamed "Takbir"...."Allah-hu-akbar!!!"
The man was humiliated, but he boldly asked his Second question.


"What existed before your God?"

The small child thought and thought.
Then he asked the man to count backwards. "Count from 10 backwards."
The man counted..."10, 9 ,8 , 7 , 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1,0"
The boy asked, "What comes before 0 ?"
The man: "I don`t know...nothing."

The boy: "Exactly. Nothing was before Allah, for He is eternal and absolute."

The crowd cheered again...."Takbir!"...."Allah-hu-akbar!!!!"
The man, now completely frustrated, asked his final question.


"In which direction is your Allah facing?"

The boy thought and thought.
He then asked for a candle. A candle was brought to him. The blessed child handed it to the man and asked him to light it.
The man did so and remarked, "What is this supposed to prove?"
The young boy asked, "In which direction is light from the candle going?"



The man responded, "It is going in all directions."
The boy: "You have answered your own question. Allah`s light (noor) goes in all directions. He is everywhere. There is no where that He cannot be found."

"The crowd cheered again...."Takbir!"...."Allah-hu-akbar!!!"
The man was so impressed and so moved by the boy`s knowledge and spirituality, that he embraced Islam and became a student of the young boy.

So ended the debate.
Who was the young boy?
The young boy was one of our leaders and one of the greatest scholars,
Imam Abu Hanîfa.

As a Admin of the page I would like you give you advice that,
Nowadays, we are telling our kids daily a story. Which usually have lots of magic and false concept.

But, If we practices ourself to tell the stories of this kind(which have islamic content) then on surely we can build them a knowledge of Duniy'a also a knowledge of Aahir'aa to our valuable Kids. 
"Generally, This kind of Islamic stories are better than Magical fable."
Allah knows the best!

'Astrology'- Is not in Islam.

Prophet Muhammad(saw) said that, "the salaah (daily prayer) of whoever approaches a fortune-teller and asks him about anything will not be accepted for forty days and nights." 
[Reported by Hafsah and collected by Muslim (Sahih Muslim (English Trans.), vol. 4, p. 1211, no. 5440)






Allah almighty says in the Glorious Quran In Chapter 6, Verse 59 that,

"And with Him are the keys to the unseen, none know them except He. And He knows what is in the land and in the sea; and not a leaf falls except with His knowledge..."

There are many amongst the ignorant who erroneously believe that whatever good befalls them, it happens because of the movement of the heavenly bodies, planets, stars, etc.  Such is the strength of their false beliefs that the movement of the heavenly bodies or stars control their destiny, that they never make any important decision in their lives (like marriage, opening a business, moving into a new house or office, etc.) without consulting the so-called ‘astrologers’ who guide them by studying the movement of their ‘lucky’ stars, when it would be the most opportune time for them to fulfill their decisions!

Allah Says in His Holy Quran Chapter 35, Surah Fatir verse 2:
"Whatever mercy God opens for the people, none can stop it. And what He holds back none can send it other than He. And He is the Noble, the Wise."

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3, Surah Ale Imraan verse 160:
"If Allah helps you none can overcome you: if He forsakes you who is there after that that can help you?  In Allah then let believers put their trust."

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 9, Surah Taubah verse 51:
"Say: "Nothing will happen to us except what Allah has decreed for us:  He is our Protector";  and on Allah let the believers put their trust."

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6, Surah Anaam verse 17:
"If Allah touch thee with affliction none can remove it but He; if He touch thee with happiness He hath power over all things."

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33, Surah Ahzaab verse 3:
"And put your trust in Allah Alone; and enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs."

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 1.807        

Narrated by Zaid bin Khalid Al Juhani, 
The Prophet (saws) led us in the Fajr prayer at Hudaibiya after a rainy night. On completion of the prayer, he (saws) faced the people and said, "Do you know what your Lord has said (revealed)?" 

The people replied, "Allah and His Messenger (saws) know best." 

He (saws) said, "Allah has said, 'In this morning some of my slaves remained as true believers and some became disbelievers; whoever said that the rain was due to the Blessings and the Mercy of Allah had belief in Me and disbelieved in the stars, and whoever said that it rained because of a particular star had no belief in Me but believes in that star!' "

To believe that stars, its movements, or its location, or anything or anyone else other than Allah(Swt) Alone can bring about any good or evil in the ‘unseen’, or benefit or harm anyone in the ‘unseen’, or has any bearings on one’s life in the ‘unseen’, etc. would indeed be a clear manifestation of the heinous abomination and sin of ‘shirk’, 

And the believers who sincerely fear Allah and the Last Day must absolutely abstain from such ignorance.  Absolutely everything, is in the Sole Control and Domain of none save Allah(Swt), The Lord, Protector, Provider, and Sustainer of the Worlds.

If one trusts, obeys, the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saw), one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of being led astray. 

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s assistance and Guidance,
Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
